JOHN CHARLES YEO

Chairman and CEO of Vault Technology Holdings (2007 - 2011). Acquired the NATO Command centre inside the Rock of Gibraltar from the Ministry of Defence on a 25 year lease in 2008 and converted this super-secure bomb proof complex into a state of the art Data Centre with full power and Data resilience. Provided a Gibraltar Telecommunications company with a super-secure room to allow them to expand their Fibre Optic core Networks all of which terminated in our secure (TIER 3) complex. Sold the business in 2011 and was retained as a consultant until December 2012.

Incorporated Near Technologies Gibraltar Ltd (2015) which has been responsible for the design build and provision of major ICT Projects for the Government of Gibraltar.

Other competences include Micro Electronics Engineering, Mainframe computers, Data centres, IT and Electrical Support Background developed over many years working with Private, Public and Military establishments earned him a strong reputation in Niche International Projects as an expert troubleshooter, Contractor and Consultant.

Executed Mission Critical Projects in many countries subcontracted by companies such as AIRBUS (Signalis), Unilever and many others.

Over 29 years’ experience across Barclays Group working within Global IT Projects & Business Development Programmes - Vice-President for the Mediterranean Estate and Supplier framework across EU geographies (including sites in Gibraltar, Malta, Switzerland, Cyprus, Madrid & Lisbon as part of Barclays Capital EMEA region - reporting into COO in Frankfurt).

Varied industry experience – International Business Development & Programme Delivery, Service Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Managed Services, Financial, Legal & Technical Governance (including Supplier Management Framework (SMF) process) and infrastructure management.

 

VICE-PRESIDENT AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST

DR EL MOSTAFA EL AOUAZI

Doctor Engineer from European Universities and International Expert with over 40 years experience in the field of Telecommunications and business development across MENA and Africa - having worked and led teams at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Thuraya Satellite Communications across EMEA after holding top positions within the Kingdom of Morocco in dealing with renewable energies, mining and development of the northern provinces working directly with the Prime Minister’s cabinet in Rabat & Casablanca.

Dr. Mostafa is a highly valued member of our team who oversees HERCULES TELECOMMUNICATIONS MOROCCO, as a subsidiary of HTI, and of course the management of our supplier portfolio across MENA / ECOWAS and our landing station in Cabo Negro (CLS2) amongst other key activities such as direct sales and marketing in the African region.

 

LEGAL ADVISER

DAVID WEBER

David has advised on landmark projects spanning the telecommunications, transportation, infrastructure, power generation and oil & gas sectors, advising project developers, lenders, investors and host Governments.

Among the many notable projects to which David has contributed are the UK-France Channel Tunnel. He was legal counsel to the banking syndicate from the initial concept definition up to the £5 Billion capital raise and until the first re-financing of the bank financing, a period spanning several years.

He spent the larger part of his career at Linklaters, an international law with its head office in the City of London, becoming a Partner in 1984 and subsequently co-founder of the firm’s highly successful Projects & Energy Group. David joined HASSANS in 2015 and has been involved with HTI since its incorporation in 2018.
